Texas Gov. George Bush canceled a land visit to a West Bank settlement at the last minute. But Bush, who is rumored to be a possible candidate for president in 2000, did fly over several West Bank settlements with Israeli Foreign Minister Ariel Sharon. Along with several other governors, Bush is on a three- day visit to Israel.
