Texas Gov. George W. Bush’s chief foreign policy adviser included support for Israel when discussing the Republican presidential candidate’s foreign policy goals. Speaking at the Republican convention, Condoleezza Rice said a Bush administration would continue the “bipartisan tradition” of supporting “Israel’s quest for enduring peace with its neighbors.”
