The American Jewish Congress asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review a case in which a Christmas display was allowed to remain in a public square in Syracuse, N.Y. The AJCongress asked the court to overturn a federal court of appeals decision that the display, which depicts the birth of Jesus, does not violate the separation between church and state.
