The American Legion is permanently memorializing Israel with a bronze plaque and a resolution central on mahogany for Israel’s rescue of hostages held by Palestinian terrorists at Entebbe Airport in Uganda last July. Israeli Ambassador Simcha Dinitz will receive the plaque at a Legion luncheon here Nov. 12.
