The Anti-Defamation League criticized a journalist for comparing a compromise on the judicial filibuster issue to concentration-camp selection. The group said Robert Novak’s comments that for Senate Republicans to reach a compromise on the issue with Democrats would be “like going to a concentration camp and picking out which people go to the death chamber,” were “deeply offensive and insensitive.”
