The Arab states have requested the World Health Organization to grant the Palestine Liberation Organization the same sums WHO gives to Israel. This request was part of the resolutions adopted during the Arab health ministers conference in Kuwait last week. The Arab ministers also requested that Arab contributions should not be allocated to medical research programs in Israel. They also asked that WHO appoint an Arab doctor as deputy vice-director of the organization.
