The director general of the Israeli Ministry of Immigration, J. Shaye, returned here today from a week’s visit to Budapest where he conferred with Hungarian Deputy Foreign Minister Berei. He declined to discuss the nature of his talks with the Hungarian authorities but it is assumed that they referred to emigration of Jews from Hungary to Israel.
