The Dresden Volkszeitung reports an attack last night upon the Berlin home of the chairman of the Socialist fraction in the Prussian Diet, Ernst Heilmann.
Four persons broke into the house in the middle of the night, during Heilmann’s absence.
Police who arrived on the scene were informed: “We belong to the Nazi party and are carrying out orders from headquarters.”
The incident is reported only by the Dresden Volkszeitung. All the other papers remain silent, despite the fact that the attack occurred in Berlin, and this fact is regarded as symptomatic.
