The excutive board of Switzerland’s Holocaust Memorial Fund approved in principle the $156 million sought by Jewish groups representing survivors, according to the executive director of the World Jewish Congress. In addition, the board approved some $8 million for immediate payment to Hungarian survivors, Elan Steinberg said.
