The fifth anniversary of Israel’s Independence Day was observed here last night at a celebration at Casino Deportive addressed by prominent speakers, and with special radio broadcasts. A reception, attended by the entire diplomatic corps and by high government officials, was tendered by Israel Consul S. M. Kaplan.
