The fourteenth annual convention of the National Labor Committee for Palestine closed its three-day sessions at the Hotel Pennsylvania today, adopting a quota of $1,125,000 for Palestine labor activities, including $750,000 as a direct contribution and $500,000 in investments.

Resolutions were adopted asking the British Government to open the door of Palestine wide to refugees, extending a hand of friendship to the Arabs and urging the United States Government to combine its German immigration quotas for several years. Chief speaker today was Sholem Asch, the author, who broke down and wept during his address. Others were Baruch Zuckerman and Louis Hollander. Joseph Schlossberg was re-elected chairman of the committee and other officers were re-elected. Mr. Hollander was added as a co-chairman.
