The head of Israel’s Shin Bet domestic security service reportedly met a Palestinian counterpart to try to end the almost six-month-old Palestinian uprising. Avi Dichter and Amin al-Hindi reportedly held the meeting as part of efforts to restore security cooperation since the violence began in late September.
