The head of the CIA met with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Abdullah to discuss terrorism and a recent Saudi peace initiative. George Tenet, author of an eponymous plan for an Israeli-Palestinian cease- fire, made an unannounced trip to Saudi Arabia, along with the assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern Affairs, William Burns.
