The Hungarian Jewish community is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the signing of an agreement between the government and representatives of the Reformed, Unitarian, Jewish and Evangelical Churches, During their celebration, the national agency of Hungarian Jews and the Budapest Jewish community drew up a resolution stating that Hungarian Jewry has found its place in socialist society today. They indicated that Hungarian Jews are no longer finding it incompatible to be Jewish and Hungarian at the same time.
