The Israeli public has no trust in the legal system, Israel’s top prosecutor said. “To my regret, we have largely lost the faith of the people, thanks to laxity on the part of law enforcement,” State Attorney Eran Shendar told a conference of the Israel Bar Association in Haifa on Monday.
