The Jewish National Fund marked Tu B’Shevat by planting hundreds of thousands of trees throughout Israel. The JNF said this week that on Jewish Arbor Day its volunteers, led by acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, planted 640,000 trees at public parks and nature reserves.
