The leader of France’s far-right National Front said he had no desire to follow the Vatican’s call for Christians to repent for the Holocaust. Christian culpability for the deaths of 6 million Jews during the Holocaust is “the pope’s problem,” Jean-Marie Le Pen said after the release of a Vatican document about Christian responsibility for the Holocaust. “I don’t feel any blame and therefore I have no need to repent.”
