The leading radical group in Ukraine says last week’s terror attacks in the United States can be seen as revenge for the U.S. atomic bombing of Japan during World War II and for more recent air raids on Vietnam, Libya, Iraq and Yugoslavia, according to the Union of Councils for Jews in the FSU. UNA-UNSO, which is known for its anti-Semitic and xenophobic stance, says the attacks are a source of “moral satisfaction for millions” and will increase Ukraine’s power.
