The legendary Exodus captain was arrested for driving without a license. Yitzchak Aharonovitch, 83, became a modern Zionist icon for eluding a British naval gauntlet in order to bring Jewish refugees to prestate Israel on the ship Exodus. Aharonovitch was caught in a routine police inspection while on a shopping trip Saturday.
