The libel suit entered by Dr. Bernhard Weiss, vice President of the Berlin Police Department, against the “Angriff,” Nazi organ, opened yesterday and adjourned after several hours.
The trial was postponed and is to be resumed when other pending libel suits against the “Angriff” by Dr. Weiss come up in court. Dr. Weiss has been the target of persistent attack by the “Angriff” because he is a Jew.
