The Liberal Jewish Synagogue in Saint Johns Wood which was partially destroyed by German bombs in November, 1940, was reconsecrated today. Some 1,000 worshippers and distinguished guests took part in the ceremonies. The building has been fully restored. Doctor Leo Baeck, president of the World Union for Progressive Judaism, participated in the services. Guests included city officials of London and members of the Sephardic and United Synagogues.
