The London Herald reports today that the celebrated Wagnerian festival at Beyreuth may be abandoned this year unless Frau Winifred Wagner, widow of the son of the famous composer, Richard Wagner, who is in charge of the festival, accedes to Nazi demands and cancels the engagement of two Jewish artists for participation in the event.
