The members of the Knesset voted themselves a salary increase of $57 a month last night, raising their pay from just over $371 a month to nearly $429, plus expenses. Knesset members will now be paid at a rate of 70 percent of a Cabinet minister’s salary, compared with the previous rate of 60 percent.
