The most successful Jewish campaign that has ever been conducted in this city was concluded this week with the close of the United Jewish Appeal, according to Jacob Singer, chairman of the drive. The campaign is part of the nationwide drive for $3,000,000 for the relief and rehabilitation of Jews in Germany and other lands and for the settlement of refugees in Palestine.
The other officers of the campaign included Solomon Loeb, honorary chairman! Louis Pearlman, treasurer; Harry Perlman, secretary; and Rabbi Joshua Liebman and Andrew Fried.
