The National Council of Jewish Women joined a coalition of women’s groups to persuade members of Congress to visit hurricane-ravaged Louisiana. NCJW and other national women’s groups pledged support Wednesday for Women of the Storm, a group of Louisiana women who believe members of Congress must travel to the region to see firsthand the devastation wrought by the hurricanes.
