The president of a Jewish community in Serbia stepped down after receiving death threats. Members of the 200-strong Subotica Jewish community said Mira Poljakovic resigned this month, along with several members of her board. The community made no official comment, nor was it clear who made the threats, but community members said Poljakovic clearly took the threats seriously.
