The UJA-Federation of New York gave a grant to the American Jewish World Service to bolster Sunday-school education in Russia and Ukraine. The money will go to help the AJWS’ arm in the former Soviet Union, the Jewish Community Development Fund, train staff to raise money for Sunday schools.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
