The UJA-Federation of New York made a $250,000 grant to help feed the thousands of Falash Mura in Ethiopia awaiting decisions on their applications to immigrate to Israel. The federation plans to distribute food at the end of this month. The Falash Mura are Ethiopians whose ancestors converted from Judaism to Christianity.
