There was a sharp increase this week in the number of Israelis registering with the Reform movement, according to the movement’s Israeli leaders. The increase came in reaction to the mass demonstration earlier this week by fervently Orthodox Israelis protesting recent Supreme Court decisions, the Movement for Progressive Judaism said.
