Dr. Jacob Polevski, senior attending physician and cardiologist at Beth Israel Hospital, wins the commendation of the Journal of the American Medical Association for his recent book, “The Heart Visible.” His volume is lauded as filling a “definite hiatus” in American medical literature.
Dr. Polevski has been identified with Beth Israel Hospital ever since starting his practice twenty-six years ago. A Zionist for many years, he has toured Palestine and taken an active interest in several fund-raising campaigns here.
