Tourism from the United States to Israel increased by 49 percent in the first six months of 1976 compared to the same period in 1975, according to Israel Zuriel, Israel’s Commissioner of Tourism for North America. Zuriel said today that “Over 104,000 U.S. visitors arrived in Israel between January-June of this year against 69,622 in the same period of the previous year.”
