Truman Invites Weizmann to Visit Him During Stay in U.s.; Elath Says He Will Accept

Dr. Chaim Weizmann, Israeli President, has been invited to visit President Truman during his stay in the United States, a spokesman for the White House said today.

Israeli Ambassador Eliahu Elath talked with the President today and later told reporters that Dr. Weizmann would definitely visit Washington. He said that the President inquired about Dr. Weizmann’s health. Dr. Weizmann’s condition has improved considerably, the ambassador added.
