Truman Lauds National Committee for Labor Palestine in Message on Current Campaign

President Truman today praised the program of the National Committee for Labor Palestine, which is currently conducting a $10,000,000 drive in behalf of Histadruth. In a message to Joseph Schlossberg, chairman of the campaign, the President declared:

“I am happy to extend to the National Committee for Labor Palestine my heartiest congratulations on the occasion of its Silver Anniversary Convention to be held next week. I am well aware of the high objectives of your organization and wish you every success in your humanitarian efforts.” A message of support was also received from Secretary of Labor Maurice Tobin.
