Two 18-year-old Israeli Arabs were sentenced here today to five years in prison for espionage.
The youths, residents of the Tira village, were arrested at a hotel in Ashkelon last March and maps were found in their possession. They had registered at the hotel as Jews. They admitted to police they were planning to go to the Gaza strip and one of the youths said he planned to bring the maps to an uncle there.
