Two Baltimore Jewish lawyers, both Democrats, aspire to occupy seats in Congress.

Claiming 5,000 indorsers of his candidacy, Louis S. Ashman has filed papers at Annapolis definitely putting him in the running for Democratic member of the House of Representatives from the Second Congressional district.

A three-cornered primary fight in September among Democratic contenders for the seat in Congress from the fourth district has developed with the announcement that Sydney R. Traub will file a certificate of candidacy for the nomination soon. Mr. Traub is a member of the City Council.
