Two U.S. senators will introduce legislation next month that says America should not recognize a unilaterally declared Palestinian state. The bill, sponsored by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Sen. Richard Lugar (R- Ind.), also prohibits direct U.S. financial assistance to such a state and urges U.S. allies not to recognize a unilateral declaration.
