U.S. Tourists in Israel for Passover and Easter Urged to Check Hotel Accommodations

American tourists planning to visit Israel during the forthcoming Passover and Easter holidays were urged today by Israeli Consul-General Arthur Lorie to check in advance for available hotel and other accommodations. The announcement added that inquiries may be made at the following Israeli Government information officers: Jerusalem, 5 Ben Yehuda St.; Tel Aviv, 87 Hayarkon Dt.; Haifa, 5 Balfour St. Lourie said that “it is possible that many visitors may have to stay as paying guests at private homes.”
