Ultranationalist Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky backed Israel’s West Bank security barrier. Zhirinovsky sent a letter to Israeli Prime minister Ariel Sharon stating that the fence is the only way to block terrorist attacks and maintain the balance of power in the area, Israel’s Broadcasting Authority reported Monday.
