University in Detroit Bans Fraternity Limited to ‘white Christians’

A membership rule of Delta Theta Phi, national legal fraternity, accepting only “white Christians,” today brought a ban on the fraternity at Wayne State University here. Withdrawal of official recognition means the fraternity cannot use campus facilities.

(Continued from page 1.) The Cologne attorney said that, since assuming Eichmann’s defense, he had received numerous threatening letters. He said he had refused a request to defend Ludwig Zind, a German teacher convicted of anti-Semitism, and now awaiting an extradition ruling in a prison at Naples, Italy, The request had been made by Zind’s son, Dr. Servatius said.
