The John Wanamaker Department Store announced yesterday that it has joined the boycott of German-made products.
In a communication to Ezekiel Rabinowitz, executive secretary of the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League, officers of the store said that they have severed all business relations with German merchants. The statement read:
“Since November, 1933, we have not imported goods from Germany. We have no offices in Germany for dealings between German merchants and ourselves. We issue this statement voluntarily at this time simply to explain our position.”
