The exclusion of the Jewish vice-president of the municipality from awards of the Legion of Honor which were bestowed by the French government on the president and non-Jewish vice-presidents of Warsaw, has caused great indignation in Jewish circles here. The exclusion is regarded by Warsaw Jews as a manifestation of anti-Semitism.
