The Foreign Operations Administration today announced procurement authorizations for Israel amounting to $4,200,000 and a $1,000,000 authorization to finance the purchase of surplus agricultural commodities.
The procurement authorizations include $3,700,000 worth of iron and steel mill materials and steel mill products. Also provided is $500,000 in cattle hides. The $1,000,000 in surplus agricultural commodities is provided under the Mutual Security Act of 1954 and is made up of raw cotton, excluding linters.
