The combined fund-raising effort of the American Palestine Campaign and the Joint Distribution Committee was launched here last night at a mass-meeting at the Jewish Community Center.

Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America, who addressed the meeting, described Palestine as the only land in which refugee Jews might find opportunity to establish themselves permanently.

Other speakers were Rabbi William F. Rosenblum of New York and I. E. Kaufman, co-chairman of the campaign. Isadore Hershfield, the other co-chairman, presided.
