The Weizmann Institute of Science at Rehovot dedicated yesterday a $1,500,000 American-made, 15,000,000-volt, tandem accelerator for the study of nucleons and nuclear activities. Funds for the apparatus came partly from West Germany as a loan, and partly from a donation from the Hebrew University which will also use the facility.
