Wife of Utah Rabbi Dies in Childbirth

Irene Philippe Gordon, wife of Rabbi Samuel H. Gordon of Temple B’nai Israel, died last night during childbirth.

Mrs. Gordon, 28, was born in Saginaw, Mich., the daughter of Alexander David and Lillian Marcelle Philippe, where she resided until she came to this city in December, 1925, as the bride of Dr. Gordon.
