With George Arliss stopping over in New York prior to departure for a vacation in England, “The House of Rothschild,” his first starring picture for 20th Century Pictures, is now in its sixth week at the Astor Theatre. The film, based on the early history of the Rothschilds, is still selling out at every performance and tickets are at sale at the box office four weeks in advance.
The picture is now being released nationally and within the next two weeks will have its first run presentation in about forty American cities. It will open in London on May 4.
