The awareness of the Holocaust and its lessons for Jewish existence today are being stressed in addresses to campus student groups, faculty members and other educators by Katriel Katz, chairman of the Yad Vashem, Martyrs and Heroes Remembrance Authority in Jerusalem, who is on a lecture tour throughout the U.S. Katz came here as guest of the American Federation of Jewish Fighters, camp inmates and Nazi victims and is addressing campus student groups under the auspices of the American Zionist Youth Foundation. A former ambassador to Poland and the Soviet Union, Katz is emphasizing the importance of the Day of Observance of Jewish Martyrdom and Heroism which is the 27th day of Nissam and falls this year on the evening of April 21.
