The 36th annual convention of the National Council of Young Israel today adopted a resolution supporting the Irgun and the Stern Group. An overwhelming majority of the 600 delegates voted in favor of the resolution.

Other resolutions deal with recommendations on how to increase religious activities among Jews in the United States. Reports read at the convention emphasized that religion is losing ground among Jewish youth in this country.
