Mrs. Zena Harman, chairman of the executive board of the United Nations Childrens Fund, left New York tonight for Oslo where she will head the organization’s delegation to receive the 1965 Nobel Peace Prize in ceremonies to be held in the Storting, the Norwegian Parliament.
The award will be bestowed on UNICEF Friday, the anniversary of the birth of the late Alfred Nobel who founded the prizes named after him. During her visit to Norway, Mrs. Harman was scheduled to have a private audience with King Olaf. On Saturday night, she will deliver a major address before the Storting. Mrs. Harman is the wife of Ambassador Avraham Harman, Israel’s envoy to the United States.
