Ship service between Israel’s port of Eilat and Dares Salaam, Tanganyika, will be inaugurated Thursday, it was announced today by officials of the Zim Israel Navigation Company here.
A 2, 217-gross-ton vessel, the Pyidawnyunt, will make one 6, 000-mile round trip each month, carrying passengers and cargo. En route, the ship will call at Massawa, Ethiopia; Djibouti, French Somaliland; and Mombasa, Kenya.
